OurStory featured again on “Consider This” on Nebraska Public Media

Jeff Day and project partner Jessica Scheuerman of Parters for Livable Omaha were featured for the third time on “Consider This with Cathy Wyatt Consider This was broadcast on Nebraska Public Media (PBS tv) on  Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 6:00am and will replay several times afterwards. “Consider This…” is a weekly half-hour, prime time issues and information program produced by UNO Television. The program covers current topics that face today’s society. Host Cathy Wyatt talks to the people making news and discusses issues important to our citizens.

OurStory is a prototype aging-ready small home for Omaha that seeks affordability at the intersection of design, finance, and policy. Designed by the UNL College of Architecture’s FACT studio and led by Partners for Livable Omaha, OurStory fills a gap in the market for small house designs that are constructible, financeable, environmentally sustainable, and empowering. The first two OurStory houses, designed and partially fabricated by the 2024-2025 FACT studio, are under construction in Omaha. The Fall 2025 FACT studio will explore new opportunities of for the adaptable housing system.
